Lisa Robson is a ceramic artist, currently undertaking a full time PhD at the Belfast School of Art, Ulster University. Her practice entails creating ceramic objects for tactile engagement, and the theoretical component of her research explores attitudes to object engagement within and museum and exhibition setting. Her project advocates that to touch and handle ceramic objects enables a fuller understanding, appraisal, and appreciation of craftsmanship and material culture.
