Les Andrews has spent most of his career in advertising and marketing, and was a partner and creative director of a small London ad agency towards the end of the last century. For much of the current one he has been involved in field archaeology, having dug at Syon Park, Middlesex (mediaeval monastic) for ten seasons and in Orkney (neolithic) for three seasons, plus a number of other sites around London. Before leaving London he was a front of house volunteer at the V&A, and is currently volunteering at MAA. He is the Communications Manager for the London-based Extra Mural Archaeological Society.
