Kirsty Kernohan

Dr. Kirsty Kernohan is a Photographic Collections Assistant at MAA. She received her PhD in anthropology from the University of Aberdeen in 2021. Her doctoral research focused on nineteenth-century family practices of colonial collecting. She has also worked as a Teaching Fellow in anthropology and museum studies at Aberdeen, and with the Werner Kissling photographic collection at Dumfries Museum.
