Alyssa Walton recently completed her MPhil in Heritage Studies, but has also studied archaeology, particularly around ritual and inter-community relationships. Her interests lie in museum studies, repatriation, and how public audiences engage with heritage. She completed her dissertation on the MAA’s Benin Bronze display by studying visitor engagement with objects and the subsequent heritage processes that objects facilitate. She currently works as a Research Assistant for Dr. Dacia Viejo Rose and as a Temporary Learning Assistant for University of Cambridge Museums. Feel free to contact her with any questions at aw978@cam.ac.uk.
