Katerina Theodoraki is a second year Master’s student at Durham University, studying Conservation of Archaeological and Museum Artefacts. Currently, she is fulfilling a one-year placement at the University of Cambridge Museums (UCM), through which she has been able to work in a number of institutions, including the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, the Whipple Museum of the History of Science, and the Museum of Classical Archaeology.

Looking After a 22nd Dynasty Egyptian Bead Net

A brief insight into the conservation of an impressive 22nd Dynasty Egyptian bead net which was carefully removed from a Perspex board and bead by bead, sewn to a more suitable, acid free backing.
