Author: Gerard Davis

Gerard Davis is a professional dance writer and contributes regularly to magazines and companies such as The Royal Ballet. He specialises in ballet and contemporary dance but has also written on Japanese classical dance, opera, classical music and, somewhat unexpectedly, juggling. During his career he's interviewed hundreds of people for publication, not only in the field of dance (Darcey Bussell, for instance) but also Turner Prize-winning artists (Chris Ofili), best-selling novelists (Audrey Niffenegger) and Oscar-winning film composers (Gabriel Yared). He currently works as Shop Supervisor at MAA.
